Dr Charles Chen, the founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of FoodNet Consultants Group of Companies is currently a certified WDA approved trainer, course developer and assessor under the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment Program as well as a Practising Management Consultant under Institute of Management Consultants (Singapore).
Due to its commitment to promote food safety and encourage entrepreneurship in the region, FoodNet Consultants has been awarded the Successful Entrepreneur Award 2010, Singapore Brand Award 2011, 9th Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise – Keris Award 2010 (awarded by the Malaysia International Trade and Industry), Asia Pacific TOP CEO 2011 by Global Business Magazine, Asia Pacific International Entrepreneur Excellence Award – Excellence Leadership 2011, Asia Pacific International Entrepreneur Excellence Award – Excellence Service Quality 2011 and appointment as member of Asia Pacific Excellence Entrepreneur Honorary Council Board of Governors.
Dr Charles Chen, with his team of food consultants has assisted more than 100 food manufacturers, restaurants and food services, logistics hubs and cold chain, food caterers, canteens, packaging materials manufacturers, food grade sanitizing chemicals manufacturer, pharmaceutical manufacturers, supermarkets and farms in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia and China in their journey towards food safety. He has also personally designed food factories that caters to seafood processing, central kitchens and manufacturing of processed and ready to eat food.
Dr Charles Chen, a strong believer of service quality, encourage its team of specialists to participate actively in upgrading courses to ensure that they possess up-to-date knowledge and soft skills require to deliver one of the best service in the industry.
The Company has also formally launched its collection of tools and equipment for the food industry under the i-Clean, i-Measure and i-Care collection.
His sense of entrepreneurship and passion of meeting different challenges in his journey to be a business owner has enable him to set up and establish Business Excellence Consultants Pte Ltd, which focus on assisting enterprises in their journey towards business excellence through productivity enhancement measures, process and technological innovations and implementation of quality management systems. 6 Elements Building Services Pte Ltd will be the Builder and Fit-Out Specialist for various industries with specialized capabilities in food related projects. Asia Capital Asset Management Pte Ltd will focus on investment holding and act as the incubator for new business areas under the FoodNet Consultants Group of Companies. In 2011, the Group set up its first overseas office in Malaysia under FoodNet Consultants International Sdn Bhd. |
